The management of Tropical Reef Shipyard recognise that the results achieved by the Company can only be as a result of the efforts of the personnel employed at the shipyard. This is supported by our accreditation under BS OHSAS 18001:2007 and AS/NZS 4801:2001.
We understand the need to provide and develop an environment where the individual skills of our employeesare enhanced. Managers and supervisors within the organisation are encouraged to nurture and develop employees and providean environment which caters for the changing expectations of the community.

Environmental Policies
Tropical Reef Shipyard acknowledges its responsibilities to perform ship repair activities in a manner which does not degrade the environment, and is committed to ensuring our environmental obligations to our customers are met.
Through the implementation of environmental practices incorporating accreditation under ISO AS/NZS 14001:2004, we are committed to conduct our business activities such that no environmental nuisance or harm is caused.
The management and staff recognise that the existing work practices and facilities require continual improvement to maintain conformity to increasingly stringent environmental obligations.
